The Kingstree Fire Department has an immediate job opening for the position of Fire Fighter/Engineer.  Successful candidate must have thorough knowledge of modern fire suppression and prevention, considerable knowledge of applicable laws, ordinances, departmental standard operating procedures and regulations, skills in operation of  listed tools and equipment,  ability to perform work requiring good physical condition, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions.  Successful candidate must be 21 years of age, possess a valid South Carolina drivers license with Commercial Drivers license endorsement without record of suspension or revocation in any state. No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history in the past seven years, the ability to meet physical standards. Ability to work shift position.
