The Kingstree/Bi-Lo Pig Pickin' Festival is an annual event that
brings some of the best cookers from all around the South to
Kingstree on the third weekend in October. Either it be cooked by
wood or gas, the cookers al vie for one thing, the title of Winner
of the Kingstree/Bi-Lo Pig Pickin' Festival. Events include a golf tournament at the local Swamp Fox golf course, carnival rides, band performances, local dance companies perform, lancing tournament, and vendors providing all type food for you to enjoy. A parade is held on Saturday morning, with entrant including local high school and college bands, local and state dignitaries, beauty queens, local emergency service apparatus and personnel wrap up an event that the whole family can enjoy.
